How to read these results
Method & calculation basis
FMP estimates average PPE / sales from seven annual statements, then estimates growth capex from revenue changes and the PPE / sales ratio. Maintenance capex = total capex − growth capex; owner earnings = operating cash flow + signed maintenance capex. The table independently checks the latter identity and per-share denominator where fiscal periods match.
Coverage & limitations
Maintenance versus growth spending is a model estimate, not an audited company disclosure. Vendor methodology contains special treatment for declining or zero prior revenue; the source link documents it. A positive estimated maintenance-capex value is retained as a model output, not silently changed to a cash outflow. Per-share estimates may differ due to rounding or revised share counts.
